I discovered Ali Farka Touré only about two months ago. He's amazing. Since downloading his music on iTunes, I've listened to it nearly every day.
This morning I read that Touré died in his sleep Monday in Mali. If you've never listened to him, I encourage you to check him out today in celebration of his life and his music.
